Dick Cantwell

Dick Cantwell is a twenty-year veteran of Seattle craft brewing.  Since 1996 he has been head brewer at Elysian Brewing Company, which now has three pub locations and is currently engaged in opening a production brewery during the coming summer.

In addition to brewing, he has written for many beer publications, and in 1997 published the Brewers publications stylebook on Barley Wine with Fal Allen. Elysian was named Large Brewpub of the Year at GABF in 1999, 2003 and 2004, and in 2004 Dick also received the Russell Schehrer Award for innovation and excellence in brewing.
