    Ready to Brew Adventurous IPAs?

    Ready to Brew Adventurous IPAs?

We've witnessed (and sampled) IPA trends: milkshake and orange juice, not to mention and glitter beer. But where do you turn for unique, but balanced India Pale Ale recipes?

Enter Brewing Eclectic IPA: Pushing the Boundaries of India Pale Ale by Dick Cantwell, available in May 2018.

According to the Brewers Association, IPA is the most popular craft beer style and brewers are getting creative and serving unusual sub-styles.

"There’s no mistaking that we are living in the heyday of IPA,” declares Cantwell. “Brewers are using a wide range of ingredients, from cocoa nibs, coffee, fruits, and vegetables, to spices, herbs, and even wood, to push the boundaries of the style.”

Brewing Eclectic IPA includes 25 original recipes for professional brewers and homebrewers. Browse the table of contents and you'll find IPAs with fruit, spices and herbs—yes, that kind of herb—coffee, chocolate and wood-aged and sours.

Brewing Eclectic IPA is available for preorder via Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

We will offer a special presale promotion May 8-15, 2018. Check back or sign up for email alerts.

Already own the previous edition from 1996? This 2017 edition includes recipes for popular beer styles (like sours) and instructions for brew in a bag.

Well written. Had read the earlier edition and was impressed with the changes.

Great resource for homebrewing. This is a must have for Homebrewers. I read through the book, and continually refer back to various sections when expanding my knowledge of the various sub topics in homebrewing. I really enjoyed the brew-in-a-bag section. The extreme detail the author included made it less intimidating for me to make the jump to all-grain brewing. I bought my copy and had the author sign it at Minneapolis HomebrewCon, and gave my previous edition to an aspiring homebrewer and friend.
