    Medals Awarded to BP Authors at the Great American Beer Festival

    On Saturday, October 7, the 2017 Great American Beer Festival competition awarded 293 medals to some of the best commercial breweries in the United States. Among these winners were Brewers Publications authors Jennifer Talley of Auburn Alehouse and Geoff Larson of Alaskan Brewing Co.

    Session Beers author Jennifer Talley, manages Brewery Development at Auburn Alehouse and the brewery received a gold medal for Hop Donkey in the Double Red Ale category. In addition, Auburn Alehouse was awarded a silver medal for their Gold Digger IPA in the most competitive category American-Style India Pale Ale, which received 408 entries.

    Alaskan Brewing Co. took to the stage to receive a gold medal for Heritage Coffee Brown Ale in the coffee beer category. Congratulations to Geoff Larson (not pictured), author of Smoked Beers and president Alaskan Brewing Co. on the win.
